Call HSM for synchronous backups from Connect Direct

We would like to include in our Connect Direct process a call to HSM to make synchronous backup of important production dataset received or sended to be able to make a fast recover in case of corruption or data lost. We have tried to make calls to HSM backups interface but it failed because need TSO TMP to run (ticket : TS017775862). 

After several test we have found a solution doing the following sequence   :

It's not 'elegant' because we have to make an alloc and free of the dataset to backup but works in synchronous mode with HSM.

 

Our request is to ask IBM to enhance the HSM module : ARCINBAK to include dsname to backup as parm or to provide a module that allow connect direct to make direct call to HSM HBACKUP  command
