Multiple integrated C:D file agent instances on Windows

When using the integrated file agent on a C:D hub to access multiple file shares the service account may need to be a member of multiple groups, each of which may have multiple sub-groups, causing the user’s token, which includes all group security identifiers (SIDs), to exceed the maximum size allowed, causing login failures (Error 1384). This prevents the addition of further permissions to the domain account used by the integrated file agent so no further shares can be watched.

Whilst multiple standalone file agents are supported these introduce additional installs to be managed, cannot be centrally configured and managed using REST APIs/CDWS nor CCD, and require manually allocating the shares/permissions across multiple domain accounts for the different agent instances.

C:D Windows should support multiple integrated file agent instances per node, each of which can run under different accounts, enabling centralised management and configuration, or a method for the integrated agent to impersonate different accounts depending on the rule.
