CDz SMF 132 record should track "usage" of userID authentication with the CDz userID proxy table the same way it tracks SNODEID usage of userID authentication.

Why is it useful?  It is useful because it allows there to be an audit trail that clearly states the authentication of the userID logon to z/OS Connect Direct was done using the CDz User Proxy table.

Who would benefit from it?

CDz administrators and z/OS Security Auditors.

How should it work?

It should work the same way you do it for SNODEID usage tracking in CDz SMF record type 132.  Your development team has disclosed details about how SNODEID tracking works and why CDz user proxy table tracking using the same method is not being done, but I do feel your development team is professional and up to the task of making a way for this to work.  Here is their statement:

"The problem is that the Auth file is checked at process initialization but the CT record (which maps the SMF 132) is issued at Step End of the process. There is a flag in the SQCB that indicates if the Auth file has been used but that control block is not being accessed at the time the SMF 132 is cut."
