Support IBM Sterling Connect:Direct for i5/OS run on IBM i 7.6

In April 2025, IBM released version 7.6 of IBM i, the successor to IBM i 7.5.
However, we have been informed by the Offering Manager that, at this time, there are no plans to support IBM i 7.6 for IBM Sterling Connect:Direct for i5/OS, which has historically provided support for the IBM i platform.
With the entry-level model of Power11 scheduled for release in the second half of 2026, a significant number of IBM i users are considering migration to this new platform. For those customers currently utilizing IBM Sterling Connect:Direct for i5/OS, compatibility with IBM i 7.6 is a critical requirement.
We would greatly appreciate your support in facilitating an official statement of support for IBM i 7.6 within the first half of 2026.

    We currently use IBM Sterling Connect:Direct as a critical file transfer solution for data exchange with overseas partners.
    At present, it supports IBM i OS up to version 7.5, but we kindly request that you consider providing support for the latest OS, IBM i 7.6.

    Our automotive manufacturing customers plan to migrate to IBM i 7.6 in the first half of 2026. Please clarify CD to 7.6 support plan by the end of 2025. Best regards, Thank you.

    A Banking Client is upgrading their i/OS to v7.6 by Jan 2026 - will need a committed timeline for CD to support iOS v7.6. Thanks.
