CDW - Reduce windows user permission on Transfer ID/Proxy ID instead of granting local admin

Currently must required the ID to be part of the administrators group. If the TransferID/Proxy ID (AD user) can be a normal user, that would be great because the whole process just required to transfer the data/files to a NAS, so only permission is needed for the ID is modify access to NAS or specific folder, but CD required it to be an administrator in order to transfer successful from one CD to CDW.

Can you please look into it as it's a concern in term of security? we wants an AD account with local admin access to run the service, and we wants another AD account without local admin to just do the file transfer.

What is your industry? Banking

please see details above.

account to run service

another account without local admin access to just do file transfer via CD

    Hi Robert,

Thank you raising the RFE and the requested functionality is already in place. Please find below the documentation,

Connect:Direct Window users do not need to be members of the Administrators group. The only requirement for regular Connect:Direct Window users is to have the user right “Log on locally” on the system hosting the Connect:Direct Windows.

For further information, see Configure Microsoft Windows User Privileges - IBM Documentation.

    Thanks,

    James
