Test and certify Connect Direct to use DFS in addition to UNC paths

Connect Direct has not been tested nor certified to use DFS paths instead of UNC paths. The use of DFS paths allows Connect Direct copy configurations to automatically switch to a new device location vs the current use of UNC paths where we would need to update the Copy statement to point to the new UNC location.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

Currently our NAS devices have DFS paths that would point to the primary datacenter and if needed they would be pointed to the secondary datacenter. We currently are using UNC paths to point to the primary datacenter and whenever the application needs to failover, we need to go coordinate the failover with the application group and also the NAS technicians doing the failover.
