Allow for Connect Direct service account to be non-interactive

For Windows servers we need the Connect Direct service account to be non-interactive (Per Windows functionality, the service account needs to perform a logging event to retrieve the properties (access/grants/rights) that the user has.

For financial institutions, any user that has logging enabled without the application being able to check out the password from our vault application, One Identity TPAM, is considered a risk.

The Windows functionality should be the same as Linux or Unix where the account does not need to be interactive.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

It will be used to restrict service accounts on the Windows platform and allow for the bank to close out risks.

This needs to be the case for user accounts as well. Thanks.

Thank you for opening this enhancement request with us. I have reviewed it with my team and we understand the request to limit permissions granted to C:D accounts. Unfortunately this request will require some detailed exploration to see what options may be possible to limit necessary permissions. I will accept this request as a way to track that research and if streamlined permissions are possible we'll look to deliver them following completion of that research.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Sanders
