Mask or Don't Include Passwords In Connect Direct Process Scripts that have been built in Connect Direct Web Services or Connect Direct Browser UI

Currently when a user builds a process in CDWS or CD Browser UI, the password is in plain text if a pnode/snode ID is used with password. This is a security vulnerability and should be addressed. We realize that there is no way to stop a user from updating their script with the password in plain text.

Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed this request thoroughly with my team and we believe that adding the ability to more easily detect when users have hard coded passwords in their processes. We will accept this request and will look to add it to our roadmap moving forward as part of our efforts to deliver process library functionality. Thank you for leveraging our RFE tool and please don't hesitate to open new requests for other ideas we should consider.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Sanders
