Increase the maximun runnable C:D session from 99 to *NOMAX or a higher limit

Currently, the maximum active C:D session is 99, when the session limit is reached, and new C:D job is initiated , it will abend with CDE0200 and the C:D job have to be retried again.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

A higher limit or no limit on the number of active runnable C:D session would be good to reduce

unnecessary abend or msgw(due to product limitation).

  • delay in C:D tranmission due to limit reached and unnecessary troubleshooting

Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed it with my team and we believe this would be a valuable enhancement and that it is technically feasible. I will accept this request and we'll look to add it to the C:D i5/OS roadmap moving forward.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Sanders
