Connect:Direct and Control Center need the ability to pull account passwords from a corporate password manager/vault as application to application accounts should not require human maintenance or upkeep. This reduces the overhead and increases the security of managing thousands of Connect:Direct nodes in enterprise environments where account passwords must rotate every ninety days.

Automate the process needed to keep updating both the Control Center and Server side accounts used for monitoring Connect:Direct nodes through Control Center which is currently cumbersome and time consuming.

    Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed this request with my team and we believe it is similar to another request that we have accepted for Connect:Direct that are are looking to place on our roadmap. I have provided a link to that request below.

    As we don't have a similar request open for IBM Control Center I have modified this request to reference that offering and will redirect it to that team. They will review the request to determine if it can be accepted for Control Center as well.
