We need a RPM installation package for Connect:Direct to simple deploy in our Cloud enviroment. The RPM must inform all dependencies for a automated instalation process (like Puppet).

How will this idea be used?
In our cloud enviroment there is no access for users to do installation of products (like Connect:Direct), we must provide a automated script to do all installation process, however in some cases Connect:Direct needs c++ libaries as prerequisites. The idea of a RPM package is to provide every information that is needed to install Connect:Direct for the installation manager easily. |

Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed it thoroughly with my team, but unfortunately we don't plan to add support for RPM installation files. We are planning to offer dockerized options in the future however. We expect this will allow streamlined installations across a broader set of operating systems using the same technology and would likely meet your needs as well. Thank you for opening this enhancement request with us and please do let us know if you have other suggestions that we should consider.
Sincerely,
Chris Sanders
