Support for MS SQL 2016 and 2017 (and 2014 compat mode)

Requesting support for MS SQL Server 2016/2017, including support for the SQL Server 2014 compatible modes.

How will this idea be used?

To keep up to date on the latest SQL implementations/technologies on Microsoft platforms. Customers going through a tech refresh do not want to install "legacy" versions of the OS or DB servers.

    Thank you for your patience as we worked on this enhancement request.  I'm pleased to announced that we released v6.0 on 12/7/18 which adds SQL 2016 as a certified database for use with Connect:Direct for Windows.  Please download a copy to start leveraging this database and other enhancements that have been made.

    Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM.  I have reviewed it with my team and believe this would be a valuable enhancement to Connect:Direct.  I will accept this request to add certification for SQL 2016 and/or 2017.  We will not be able to certify compatibility mode however as this wouldn't meet our testing criteria.
