This portal is to open public enhancement requests for IBM Sterling products and services. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

if SQLServer Express Edition is no longer a supported database for C:D - could references to the Express Edition be removed from the documentation. For example - in the C:D v.4.8 (released in March 2018) document (document has the filename cd_53_win_pdf.pdf) it still has multiple references to SQLServer Express Edition - which seem to indicate that it is a supported database for C:D - for example it has the entry: "To use SQL Server Express, download and install it."
Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed it with my team and unfortunately we won't be able to accept this enhancement request. We don't certify C:D for use with SQL Express as Microsoft doesn't provide support to us if a DB issue is identified. This limits our ability to fully support and certify that DB option. As an alternative we do ship PostgreSQL as the default DB for C:D Windows v4.8 which may meet your needs. Thank you for opening this enhancement request and please don't hesitate to use the tool again should the need arise.
Sincerely,
Chris Sanders
