Add Servers in Control Center Monitoring to Connect:Direct Web Services Automatically

When utilizing APIs or manual entry of servers to ICC monitoring, have that automatically add the servers to the Connect:Direct Web Services. This will alleviate hours of manual work when onboarding new servers or existing servers to allow for Web Services use.

What is your industry? Automotive
How will this idea be used?

During our installations on new servers via automation, we utilize the APIs to onboard the servers to ICC. If they are also uploaded to the Web Services, this will also allow for users to make configuration changes via the Web Services GUI without additional manual action from operations.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas. CDWS has a new feature to connect to Control Center and get the connection details. We would be happy to demonstrate that in which case feel free to reach out to me and I can setup the call.

If you have any additional feedback, thoughts or ideas, or if there is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate to reply to this message to continue the conversation. Appreciate your patience.

    Thanks,

    Vijay
