Credential enumeration

Credential enumeration occurs when an attacker can determine the validity of credentials by observing responses in the application and identifying differences between correct and incorrect responses. Attackers may be able to use this vulnerability to determine which account elements are valid and then target the smaller list with targeted attacks. Credentials enumeration attacks may result in accounts being locked or other denial-of-service conditions.

When you attempt to login using a valid user but incorrect password, you receive the error message "AUTH006E: External authentication failed"

When you attempt to login using an invalid user, you receive the error message "AUTH003E: Invalid Credentials"
