Control centre to be RAC aware (TAF and TAC)

    Hi Mike,

Oracle supports TAF (Transparent Application Failover) and FCF (Fast Connection Failover)..TAF focuses on session-level failover (queries), while FCF provides fast and efficient reconnection by handling connection pooling and notifications. Monitoring is even more important these days...All the SLAs or SLC will be in-tact...during a database node outage and/or rolling databases patches. Hope this helps, B2Bi/SFG is trying to add this functionality as well, may be you can check with Precisely team...

    Thanks,

    Rama.
