We need ability to perform below configurations in Control Center through API interface -

  1. Add, update, delete a server to control center

  2. Add, update, delete a server group to control center

  3. Add, update, delete a Metadata Rule to control center

  4. Add, update, delete a Metadata Action to control center

We currently have API functionality to read servers and server groups. And we have ability to configure normal Rules and Actions.

How will this idea be used?

We are automating the implementation of Control Center configurations through Release automation tools. This will not require a human intervention to avoid manual errors. We need above API functionalities to be added so that those configurations can be done through curl commands.
