Control Center and Connect:Direct need the ability to pull account passwords from a corporate password manager/vault

Control Center and Connect:Direct need the ability to pull account passwords from a corporate password manager/vault as application to application accounts should not require human maintenance or upkeep. This reduces the overhead and increases the security of managing thousands of Connect:Direct nodes in enterprise environments where account passwords must rotate every ninety days.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

Automate the process needed to keep updating both the Control Center and Server side accounts used for monitoring Connect:Direct nodes through Control Center which is currently cumbersome and time consuming.

Thanks for submitting the idea. After the review here are the findings. Connect Direct can provide a sample exit to communicate with tools like Cyberark agent, which is able to retrieve passwords from a vault. You can provide your own exits, based on the sample code, for the specific vault you want to utilize. Control Center can use cert based authentication to do away from passwords. Let me know if this helps.
