Email/Alerting Notifications After CCD Jobs

Looking to have an email notifications and address(es) added as a configurable job field, which would be leveraged to send results automatically (if populated with an email address) after job execution. Email should include job status results (successful, failed, etc), servers and/or groups involved, etc.

How will this idea be used?

Notifications will be leveraged for automation purposes, reactionary (not having to monitor jobs in real time) and is just a good all-around function to have.

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for submitting an idea. I believe you could set up a rule for the upgrade jobs (based on the message ID’s available) that could send out an email from an alert. Please let me know once you try this and see any concerns.
