Hi Christian,
There was a couple ideas in this Aha.
Can you open a new one for the Aspera Nodes monitoring and detail the use case?

Are you referring to monitoring of the Connect:Direct HSAO (High-Speed-Add-On)?

Thanks,

News? Created Jun 23, 2022 and IBM said "we will revist and possibly reopen this once we are ready to implement this after 18-24 months."
Thanks for the additional information. The first part of request belongs to Control Center Monitor product line and we have an RFE registered for the same. I will add your inputs to that RFE - SSP2-I-21
The second part is a great idea however we do not have to plans in next 12-18 months to implement SSP Configurations from CCD. Hence I am marking this as "Not under consideration" however we will revist and possibly reopen this once we are ready to implement this after 18-24 months.
Thanks,
Product Management
Control Center Monitor can monitor SSP (Secure Proxy) server as well as configurations. This is true but what i am actually looking for is CCM does not have the ability to monitor the actual logs that we see on proxy servers "/opt/SSP/logs/secureproxy.log and perimeter.log
Also we cant upgrade the SSP we still have to manually upgrade each SSP nodes, unlike we have the option for Connect Direct.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.
I would like to clarify that Control Center Monitor can monitor SSP (Secure Proxy) server as well as configurations. Did you have any additional monitoring use-cases apart from that? I would also review options with development team on monitoring Aspera nodes and get back shortly. Appreciate your patience.
