Pre-Upgrade Check Merged

I felt that before doing Actual Upgrade if there is some feature to do below checks:-

  • OS is compatible with the New CD Version.

  • Server has sufficient Space for the Upgrade.

  • User which will run the upgrade has sufficient permission to run the upgrade.

  • All the config file are correct by doing Config Checks.

  • Required PORTS are open or not.

  • Any other checks which CCD does after upgrade which can be performed prior.

This will be used to do pre-check before applying the actual upgrade in the server.

    Thank you for opening this enhancement request with us. I've reviewed it with my team and we agree it would be helpful to perform some additional pre-upgrade checks before trying to deploy an upgrade with CCD. Some of your suggestions will likely be possible while others might face technical challenges however. I'll accept this request in concept however and we'll look to identify which portions are possible as we look to move it into the roadmap moving forward.
