Allow the FTP Server adapter to ignore or terminate connections from load balancer health checks

The FTP Server Adapter seems to accept connections from the load balancer health checking, and creates entries into the ACT_SESSION table for them. It seems an unnecessary task to perform and causes additional database activity.

The Connect Direct Server adapter has an option to prevent this by creating an entry in the cdinterop-log.properties file to identify the IP addresses of the load balancer health checks, and for these addresses, the inbound connections are terminated without creating a session.

Can the same or similar functionality be added to the FTP Server Adapter ?

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

Just to save unnecessary system activity

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

We have evaluated the request and has determined that it cannot be implemented at this time due to other priorities. I'd like to find an oppurutntiy next year to revisit this when we introduce more of a micro-services architecture around our protocols.

In 12 months, you will receive a notification that you can resubmit this request for consideration.
