Using EC2 Profile to access AWS S3 buckets

SI 6.0.2 has an S3 client but mandates the use of access and secret keys to connect to AWS S3 buckets.  It does not allow the use of  Assume IAM role or EC2 profiles to access S3 .  Assume IAM role/EC2 Profiles eliminate the need to store and maintain S3 keys.

What is your industry? Automotive
How will this idea be used?

IAM role support was added in B2Bi 6.1.2.2 onwards. AWS S3 client service now allows temporary IAM role credentials for the business process services. See: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/b2b-integrator/6.2.0?topic=l-amazon-web-service-simple-storage-service#concept_pkc_wky_w2b__title__2

Could you please update us on this if it is implemented or not. IBM documentation for Sterling b2b integrator S3 client service is still recommending use of Access key and Secret key
