As per the current design , Fix installation drops all the Custom Indexes created on Database and recreates the Database schema without the custom indexes dropped.
Customers will be having lot many custom changes (Custom Indexes) done on Database level for various reasons and It will be difficult to identify the Custom Indexes if Fix installation drops all the custom indexes.
Expectations:
1. Fix installation should log the custom indexes before dropping.
2. It should recreate the custom Indexes if they are dropped.
3. Instead of acting on complete schema level , It would be good if fix installation acts on table level. This way installation touches the tables which require changes instead of recreating whole schema.
Thanks,
SBI SFG Team.
