AS2 Partner profile userid and password length

Currently B2Bi only supports 56 character long password in trading partner AS2 profile for basic authentication. However, some of the customers using SAP BTP providing 80 character userID and password for AS2 configuration and B2Bi is not able to store that long password.

How will this idea be used?

This will help us onboard customers who is insisting us on using basic authentication for AS2 connection. Currently, we have to come up with custom solution since B2B does allow storing of long password in AS2 Partner Profile

    I had the same issue recently. The BTP partner had to create a Proxy in API management, which is far from ideal, to reduce the password length.
