B2B System Logs UI - Logging Level Should Exist on All Logs

Currently, if you are in B2B -> System Logs UI and attempt to edit Log Settings for a log, you are offered two different scenarios:

Scenario 1 - You are provided the Roll Over Interval drop-down and a Logging Level of "on" or "off".

Scenario 2 - You are provided the Roll Over Interval drop-down and a Logging Level drop-down with the levels of Error, Communication Trace, All, Info, Debug. (Levels vary by log.)

Many of these logs have logging levels, but not all are included in the UI. This usually requires the user to go to the command line properties files on each server and update the logging level manually, which will then require a restart of the node to pick up the new logging levels. The location of these property files are not always intuitive and can take considerable time locating/updating.

All logs' logging level should be updateable within the UI and the change should be immediately applied without requiring a restart of the SI application to pick them up.

If it is decided that this functionality will not be included, at least provide us with a viewable logging level field that will show us what the current level is (and possibly a hint on where it is updated) to the UI for awareness and speed up the process if changes are needed.

How will this idea be used?

We have been asked by support to provide debug logs for the cdinterop and cdinterop_cdjava logs. The UI only provides an "on/off" switch for these logs. So we're trying to track down where the logging levels are truly controlled so we can see what the current setting is and set them to debug mode.
