How will this idea be used?
Hi Team
As advised by IBM Support in PMR TS015142665, I am raising this enhancement request.
We had a production issue where one of the nodes (primary) dropped out from cluster, resulting in failure of multiple critical files via connect direct.
After few minutes, node was joined to cluster. We had to manually reprocess all those failed files. Business was not happy with this file failures and it impacted the bank’s reputation. Business wants to mitigate the issue in future occurrences. We need an enhancement in the product to handle such short period of cluster failure in gracefully without impacting processing of files.
We need to improve the product design in such a way that if node goes out of cluster can joins back in less time with below options.
Please refer the PMR TS015142665 for more details. Thanks and Regards Suresh Subramanian 0414479561 |

This kind of functionality is part of Business Process design - there is an "onFault" option in BPs that can execute actions when the BP encounters an error like you describe. Here is some documentation that covers this topic:

Does this address some of your concerns around BP failure and graceful auto-recovery?
