Management of OFTP2 Certificates = Time Consuming with SBI

On SBI, OFTP2 management is time consomming.

What is your industry? Automotive
How will this idea be used?

To add a partner, we need to add the certificate on digital certificat side and then manage it on OFTP partner side.

To update a partner,
Add a certificate on digital certificat, manage it on OFTP partner, remove the old cerificate on OFTP partner, delete the certificate on digital certificat side.

1° I think we can do best, Odette organism propose to implement a new method to manage certificate management, could you check and implement it ?

2°On CA certificate we can manage a certificate group but this certificat group are not populated on OFTP partner. It should be possible to add only certificat group on OFTP Partner ? As is, we only need to manage the group on digital certificat side.

regards

    Hello,

To go forward, on this topic, more and more partner are deploying OFTP2 certificate through OFTP2 protocole following Odette rules, with specific VPN. Therefore it becomes a standard, that IBM should include as soon as possible in future release. Or should we continue to answer "please stop sending certificate through OFTP2 our EDI IBM B2B integrator tool doesn't manage and unfortunately no visibility on the roadmap from IBM" please raise this to IBM lab to increase the priority. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Your request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme aligns with our current roadmap and, as such, is being tagged for future consideration but is part of our long-term strategy. We cannot commit to a delivery window at this time, this is something we agree would be beneficial in the product.

IBM may consider and evaluate any community feedback for your request through activities such as voting and we may reach out to you about this request to discuss additional details with you in the future.

We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

If you have any additional feedback or thoughts, or if there is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate to reply to this message to continue the conversation. We recommend having discussions with your account team in 6-9 months for roadmap updates.
