Extend the use of Perimeter Server to Object Store Client Adapter

If Perimeter Server could support connections made from the Object Store Client Adapter it would be simple for customers to enable a connection and centralizing the entire deployment on the same Sterling platform

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

IBM has evaluated the request and has determined that it cannot be implemented at this time or does not align with our current strategy or roadmap. We would need to gain access to cloud vendor/3rd party Object Storage libraries (i.e. S3, Azure libraries) which would need to be modified to work with Perimeter Server. The 3rd party client adapter would need code changes to run in an integrated fashion with Perimeter server for every cloud vendor. Perimeter servers aren't used in container deployments either, making this a feature only applicable to non-container deployments.

Thank you for bringing your ideas to us. If you have any additional feedback, thoughts or ideas, or if there is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate to reply to this message to continue the conversation.
