Need to know length of salt for passwords and preferably configure it

As customers tighten their security policies, some are developing or already have requirements that the length of salt applied to a password must be a minimum number of characters. There is no current way to determine this or change it within B2B Integrator even up through current version 6.1.2.2_LatestiFix

What is your industry? Computer Services
How will this idea be used?

Details are provided above. Knowing what the length of salt is applied to passwords (default value) and the ability to manage that is paramount for some customers that have more stringent security requirements for their applications that authenticate users.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Your request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme aligns with our current roadmap and, as such, is being tagged for future consideration.
