Allow Sterling Integrator to support STARTTLS SMTP when connecting to MS Office 365

I am geting the following error

java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is:java.rmi.RemoteException: B2BMailSMTPImpl, mail cannot be sent because of an exception received from the server; nested exception is:
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: 451 5.7.3 STARTTLS is required to send mail
Told by IBM support "Sterling Integrator at present does not support STARTTLS SMTP."

Connect to Office 365 email server to send fault messages and customer response.

    My government customer has moved to Office 365. Office 365 does not support port 465 (the standard TLS port) and has STARTTLS as mandatory on port 587, so there's no workaround for this issue and so Sterling B2BI cannot be used to send email for them. They have asked me to escalate this feature request.
