Currently SWIFTNet7ClientResend will be triggered via the SWIFT Adapter Scheduler to look at the SWNET_MSG table for failed PUT transfers to SWIFT. Upon detection of these types of failure the scheduler will trigger an execution of the SWIFTNet7ClientResend business process. This process will then attempt to send the failed file to SWIFT, if successful the dashboard SWIFTNet correlation records will be updated to indicate that the transfer has now been successful. However, if the initial failure to send to SWIFT was off the back of a filegateway delivery protocol to send the file. If the SWIFTNet7ClientResend is successful the filegateway delivery will still remain with a status of failed and therefore, lead to inconsistences. The enhancement should allow the SWIFTNet7ClientResend business process to resend the file and when successful update the filegateway delivery protocol from failed to complete.

How will this idea be used?
This will prevent inconsistencies within SBI between SWIFT transfers and filegateway in the event of failure and resend. Ties up the relationship between filegateway and swift for file transfers and prevents database differences |
