Currently dumps, like core, heap, and java thread, go to the Install_ROOT directory. This can lead to system outages if the file system fills up with the dumps. It could also fill up if a person does a kill -3 and does not do a space check first. Other products, like WebSphere, are adding variables so the dumps can be directed to different locations. This prevents the product install_root from filling up. I would like to see a set of parameters added to Sterling B2B Intgrattor to do the same thing.
