Connect Direct Web Services - API Method for Connect Direct Version

There is currently no API method available to retrieve or GET the Connect Direct Version using the REST API, although this is available the the CDWS Web Console (see attached image). Can this method be considered?

As IBM support feedback from TS011512648. Connect Direct does not have a file locking feature on the NAS level. This should be basic security features when it comes to moving of files. appreciate if this could be added in the future release of Connect Direct.

Basic Security feature comes from the OS level that should be handled also on Connect Direct.
