PINNED Add support to controllerWorkflow script to restart BPs that are in "completed, error" state by individual BP IDs
During system issues, we are unable to bulk restart the BP IDs at a time. This is causing huge support effort in the clean-up process. Existing controllerWorkflow.sh script doesn't have a solution to restart the BPIDs that are in "completed, error...
PINNED Present Multiple Host Keys - RSA and ECDSA
As with standard Linux servers today Secure Proxy should be able to present Host Keys (more than one) in both RSA and ECDSA formats depending on what type the vendor incoming connection supports. Vendors are demanding Host Keys that are stronger t...

Please add a parser/validator of format srings into the compiler, so that WTX developers are being notified of invalid format strings that won't work in the WTX engine.

WTX should not crash when a resource value is too large.

Although the limits in resource values is documented, it is still possible to enter too long a value in a mrn file. This crashes the studio when running a map, even if the faulty resource is not used by the map. The resource registry tool should a...

Enable wildcard MSL with multiple Launchers as with single Launcher

When setting up a single Launcher source directory there is no need to specify which MSL files to run. The single Launcher event will go to the assigned directory and find/run all MSL files found. This is effectively a wild card usage of *.msl. We...

Database Interface Designer should take care of all character sets, and not only the obsolete ones

Currently (in 8.4.1.2 and earlier), Database Interface Designer cannot be told to use character sets other than the "historic" ones. It is of course possible to convert the type trees later, but would be better not to have to.

ORACLE adapter cannot take benefit of DEFAULT values

We have maps which need to be able to use the DEFAULT value for some columnes, based on business rules. At the moment, there's no way to use the DEFAULT values, and a DEFAULT ON NULL does not solve all our issues.

Need to be able to specify columns when inserting data in a table from a card.

At the moment, the DB adapter does an INSERT INTO table_name VALUES (..., which implies that we insert into all columns. This makes the map depending on the table design, and in out case, where multiple projects may update the tables, create confl...

redesign Oracle adapter for BLOB datatype

The current Oracle Adapter has the following restriction: columns with datatype BLOB can be used on input/output cards only. It's not possible to use them in DBQUERY/DBLOOKUP commands due to string restrictions that are caused by the fundamental a...

enhanced PARSE function

In order to use the new PARSE function as a replacement for the old RUN(submap) constructs, the PARSE function should have similar behavior as RUN(submap). This essentially requires 2 enhancements: 1.) We need to pass arguments to PARSE like "-F21...

Make the "use ellipses button" a display option

The Map Designer provides a way to use ellipses when draggin'-n-dropin' type references into a rule. This is very nice to make rules more compact and usually improves readability. However, "getting back" to the referenced type is sometimes an issu...
