An error occurred when updating a certificate for a client with a Serial number too long issue. Certicom found that certificate is not valid and cannot be used since the X520SerialNumber contains more than 64 characters which violates the RFC.

Passphrase Support for 100 Characters

RACF currently supports 100 characters for passphrases. Having all z/OS software/products also support that limit aligns them with the RACF limitations. This allows users even greater options at creating longer passphrases thus a more secure one.
