Shape the future of IBM!
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
IBM is transforming its request for enhancement (RFE) process. The purpose of the transformation is to provide a more consistent experience for you to submit requests and to enable IBM product owners to respond to your requests more quickly. For more information click here.
Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
1. Post an idea
2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you
3. Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notifications on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Unhandle Alert
Sometimes mistakes happen. A user may accidentally handle an alert. It would be great if an enhancement was added where as long as the handled alert is still present in the Handled Alerts Monitor, the user could then check that handled alert and s...

Duplicate rules and/or actions in Control Center 6.2.1
Prior to version 6.2, rules and/or actions could be duplicated by using the classic console. During the duplication action, the user changes the necessary information in order to make the new rule/action unique. I don't see a way to do this in ver...

Ability to right click in order to comment and/or handle an alert
On Control Center 6.1.3 there are two different icons for commenting and handling alerts. The user currently has to select a check box and then click on the comment or handle icons for the alert. These comment and handle icons are static. Dependin...

Display actual time instead of elapsed time for recent completed transfers
When trying to pinpoint when a transfer happened for troubleshooting, or any other reason, it would be a lot better if the time was displayed instead of 47 minutes ago or 2 hours ago...

the here is what shown -- can that 30 min ago be changed to the actual end time? It would show 12:38 and not 30 mins ago

Auto alert facility when an adapter or any component is down.
Hi IBM Team, As of today, there is no alerting functionality in SSP or SEAS if an important component or adapter is down. Would be good if some default error reporting via different channels like email etc. could be incorporated in the Production.

Add an indicator on the Web Console for Connect Direct that would show as to whether it has Secure + or not
Adding a Secure + indicator to the Web console would be beneficial in that it would provide a more complete picture.

Queued Process Monitor needs to be updated
There are instances where the queued process monitor shows processes that are sometimes days old. There should be a way to ensure that processes in the Queued Processes are actually running.
